Review: Time Stranger Kyoko: Leave it to Chocola

This is a spin-off OVA, for details on the manga click here
I'm a huge fan of Arina Tanemura, it all started with Full Moon wo Sagashite and then I went on to Kamizake Kaitou Jeane and made it a goal of mine to read all of her manga. Her style is elegant, cute, detailed, mysterious and her female protagonists are strong-willed but pure and believable. To me she's a shoujo mangaka that can show girls that heroine's don't always need a male to cement what is right for them.

But this... I wish this was the whole series and not a weird side-story.
You can watch the full OVA after the cut.

Review: First Kiss Monogatari & 12-Sai ~Suki, Kirai, Suki~

Art: YiiChan@deviantART
There's something so sweet and lovely about your very first kiss, or even the thought of having your first kiss (though, younger readers, don't rush yourself!), today's OVA review will focus on a few titles focusing on something that's just lovely- kisses.
Two very different sides of a subject; a first kiss and a kiss that started a relationship.
Both of these are very short OVA.

Get all puckered up for the reviews, after the cut

Review: Idol Boueitai Hummingbird

Wikipedia info here:
Japan privatises it's defence force... you know what that means folks- idols!
Idols in fighter jets playing high acrobatic games of tag, but singing cringe-inducing pop songs with lyrics such as..."the cockpit of your heart".

Strap yourself in for some high-flying 90's moe.
You can also watch this anime after the cut .

Review: Nurse Witch Komugi-chan Magikarte Z

Wikipedia information here

I've always been a fan of moe things; cute costume design, cutesy voice actors, magical girl genre..mix that together with a healthy dose of parody, milking tropes, cynicism, internet humour and breaking the 4th wall and you've got Komugi-chan.
I must stress this is not a kid's cartoon, while it's not explicitly adult, it's not appropriate for children.
