Review: Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun

Wikipedia information here!

As an artist I thought it would be interesting to watch this as it focuses on a young man who creates shoujo manga. I had no idea it would be this funny or informative and it's one of those rare titles that re-affirms a hobby or makes you want to try it. From the very start this anime has been incredibly enjoyable!

Review: Happiness!

Wikipedia information here!

This in an anime I've tried watching on and off for months; it's based on a visual novel (usually meaning deep and emotive plots), it seems to have high quality animation and very original character designs and consists of magical girls. It seemed to be everything  I'd enjoy in an anime.... however..

It's never a good sign when you get half way through episode two and decided "yeah... I don't need to do laundry... but I think I'll go do that now". Also not a good sign when you've tried watching it from the start 6 times over 3 months and your mind refuses to take it in. Not to mention the derp-singing I do when I hear that theme tune that makes me IRONICALLY not happy at all.
*shudder*

Review: Ribon x Oha Suta Specials

Today's reviews will be animated OVAs that ran as a collaboration between Ribon, a monthly shoujo manga magazine, and Oha Suta a morning program for children (known for it's coverage of idols, Pokemon, anime and young pop-culture).

These shorts (which are very short) served as commercials to gain interest for the manga that were being sold. I'll do my best to attach links to where to read these manga online if you're interested!

If I can find any online videos, they will be included and you can watch along with me and comment with what you thought

See you below the cut!
